Tortilla

Have you used a tortilla press to make a chapattis? If you have how did that work out?

Earlier on I asked if a tortilla press was the same as a chapattis press. I got great answers. I am know that traditionally people make chapattis with a rolling pin or by hand. I am new to cooking and would like to use a simpler form to make chapattis .

1. No! A tortilla press is used to make corn tortillas.
   
   
   
   To make Chapattis you need to do it with a rolling pin or by hand. This is because a tortilla press might not give you that soft texture that you want for a chipatti.
