Tortilla

I want to eat healthy but i have a problem...?

I'm 15, i drink skim milk, i eat whole grain bread (if i eat bread), i use tortilla and flat bread usually. I try to excersize and stuff too (i might get 4-6 walks a week?)



so my moms like "you're FAT lose fifty ounds... EAT A SALAD!"



but i dont like salad because the feeling of lettuce/spinach in my mouth is like eating a fallen leaf off the ground... makes me gag... how can i stop the gagging and get to more swallowing... without pukage?
my walks are more like runs half the way, i take my dog to the tim hortons to get my parenst cofee, or to get the mail, thats... i dunno maybe a mile or so?
my problem isn't the taste of the lettuce its the feel of it... like ill eat spinach tortilla...

  1. to lose weight you'll have to do more than walk. you'll have to break a serious sweat when you work out. with the salad thing you should probably just not eat the leafy stuff, you can get the same nutrients from other green veggies like cucumbers or brussel sprouts, which are easier to chew

    thats a good thing.

    i think your problem is you think you need to eat a salad or foods like that to lose weight.

    thats not true.

    you should never eat things that you dont like just to lose weight.

    i try to eat healthy also.

    its hard because im a very picky eater.

    what i think would help you is to just eat other healthy things that you actually like.

    this is what i do and it works for me.

    there are recipes online for healthy low fat meals and also things like lean cuisine are good and have a lot of things you need without all the fat!

  3. you have to eat a wide variety of fruits and veggies in decent portions to stay fit...no way out...just change your veggies from time to time and start eating smaller portions till you get used to it...
  4. lol.. omg i had the same issue about salads... u know what i do ...i take a little bit of lettuce and put it at the bottom... then i take some turkey slices i buy at wal mart.. then i chop a tomato .. then i take some mozzarella chease .. only a pinch.. and put it over .. then i take about 5 croutons and mix everything together... now all i eat are salads.. trust me its soooo good and youll barely taste the lettuce
