If I freeze tortilla chips will they still taste ok?

I'm visiting a friend in Texas and I found some really good tortilla chips that I can't get at home. I was wondering if I could get several bags and freeze them at home so I can have them later.

3. Yep....they should keep well. Also try heating them in the oven or microwave when you take them out & they will taste really good.
4. Yes, you can freeze them. You can freeze left over taco shells also. Just reheat in the oven and enjoy

6. i wouldn't sugget it. the room temperature tortillas when placed in the freezer will create condensation i the ag as it gets colder dapening the tortillas. These inturn will cause the tortllas to freeze wet. when thawed out they will again create condensation as the room temp out side an the frozen chips in side the bag. ultimately in the end you will have soggy tortllas before you fry them
7. As long as you don't expose them to air...they should be just fine..
