Low Calorie California Pizza Kitchen Choices?
I'm going there tomorrow, and I am on a diet and I'd like my meals to be about 300 calories max. What can I get at CPK then? there is no nutritionals info or anything on the website.. oh and i am a vegitarian... i usually get the caesar salads (a half size) but now i'm wondering about how many calories they have because the dressing is SO creamy... ive heard things about like tortilla soup being low calorie? has anyone had it?

- If you like the Caesar salad, get it, but order the dressing on the side. Then you can just dip the salad and not have it doused in the dressing. It is much healthier. Other than that, if you get pizza, order a plain pizza, thin crust style, but get red sauce, not white sauce. Last but not least, tell them to put half the cheese on it than they normally would. A small pizza like this, if you eat a "normal" size portion, should be about 300 calories. Ensure you order a diet drink, or just water. A final choice would be a salad with no dressing at all, or just a cup of soup. A cup of any soup would not take you over 300 cals. Hope this helps!
- Have a small veggie pizza without cheese. Ask the waitstaff to box half of it before serving. ask for the salad with dressing on the side. Dip you fork in the dressing before spearing the greens, so you have the flavor of the dressing without the greens being drenched in them. Take home the leftovers for dinner or next day's lunch.
- Tortilla soup is really good. It is really amazing there and the employees there are really nice so tomorrow i would ask them what foods are low in calories/fat/carbs whatever!! HAve fun eating there!!
- Caesar salad is typically higher in fat than a hamburger.
Pizza with sauce & veggies is OK, no meats or cheese.
