how do you make tortilla wraps?
what tortillas work best for this and whatexactly goes into a wrap? do you heat the totilla up and the refrigerate or do just tae the tortilla straight out from the pakage and make the wraps?

- Use a flour torilla for any sandwich wrap. Let it sit on the counter and use it at room temp!

- KIM'S LOVELY TORTILLA WRAP
1 tortilla wrap
1 slice of blue cheese (fourme d'ambert is best)
2 slices of parma ham
4 pieces of spanish chorizo
10 black olives
Put the tortilla wrap on a plate. Put the two slices of Parma ham onto it. Then break the blue cheese into pieces and scatter it over the Parma ham. Next, layer with the Spanish chorizo, covering the blue cheese. Then randomly scatter the black olives. Wrap the tortilla wrap around it.
TORTILLA WRAP - UPS
8 oz. cream cheese
4 oz. sour cream
8 oz. American, cheddar or Colby cheese, shredded
1 sm. jar green olives, chopped
3 cans mild green chiles, chopped
8 flour tortillas
Salsa
Mix cream cheese and sour cream. Smoothly spread equal amounts of cream cheese mixture on each tortilla. Top with your choice of topping, may add your own. Tightly roll up each tortilla, wrap securely in plastic wrap and refrigerate. Cut each tortilla in 6 pieces. Secure ends with wooden toothpick. Serve with salsa.
TORTILLA-WRAPPED MEXICAN SANDWICHES
6 oz. container frozen avocado dip, thawed
3 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
6 (8 inch) flour tortillas
8 oz. thinly sliced cooked roast beef or turkey
Leaf lettuce
4 oz. (1 c.) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Alfalfa sprouts
Tomato salsa
Combine avocado dip and cream cheese; blend dip. Spread each tortilla evenly with avocado mixture to within 1/2 inch of edge. Arrange slices of meat, cheese, lettuce and sprouts over avocado mixture. Spoon on desired salsa. Roll up each tortilla; secure with toothpicks. Serve immediately or wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate.
- Flour tortillas or corn torillas work nicely for the recipe below. I tend t warm them slightly either under the grill for a few minutes or in the microwave for a few seconds.
Vegetable Fajitas
Ingredients
1 red pepper
1 green pepper
1 yellow/orange pepper
10 closed cup mushrooms
1 onion
tortilla wraps
salsa
Slice the peppers, the onions and peel the mushrooms and chop them in half. Cook them in a griddle pan with a little oil (or a normal frying pan).
When they are cooked warm the tortilla chips in the oven for a few minutes and then spoon in some vegetables and cover with some salsa.
Roll up and eat while still warm.
They are also nice served with guacamole, soya cheese and/or vegan mayo.
